About

Born and raised in rural Wales, Wil Pattemore is a Multi-Instrumentalist Composer, Arranger, Session Musician and Sound Designer with a passion for telling stories through sound, whether musical or otherwise. With a wealth of experience writing, arranging and performing in a variety of genres ranging from punk to classical to folk to trip-hop, Wil is drawn to the weird and the wonderful, forever seeking to push the boundaries of what a musical genre is and what it could be in the context of scoring visual media. With influences such as Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Geoff Barrow/Ben Salisbury, Lalo Schifrin, and Mark Jenkin, warped soundscapes rise and fall alongside brooding string sections and pulsing bass lines within his work. Although only at the beginning of his visual media scoring and sound designing journey, Wil takes the utmost pride and pleasure in offering his services to amateur and professional screenwriters, directors, videographers, game developers, artists, and producers alike, providing sonic material of the highest quality (all mixed and mastered to an industry standard) for any and all projects proposed.

Sound Design
In addition to all scoring endeavours, Wil Pattemore offers Sound Design, Foley Recording, and Audio Post-Production services for a variety of projects. This role is available to be undertaken as a sole endeavour or as part of a larger collective role (with composition as the primary) on smaller, independent projects.

Library Music & Sync Tracks
Drawing on extensive knowledge of composition across a range of genres, Wil Pattemore has built an independent library of musical and experimental sound-design compositions that are not tied to any single piece of audiovisual media but are rather created solely to express specific emotions/feelings/experiences. If needed, these works can be used and/or expanded upon to suit a variety of projects.
